Process

Leave it to our experts to crop your photo, simply send us your original shots and our graphic designers will crop them to match the proportions of the chosen painting as closely as possible.

Hardware

Printed on 100% cotton canvas with a matt finish, stretched over a wooden frame and adjusted with tensioning keys. Your painting is ready to hang directly on your wall, so you don't need to buy a frame or any other kind of fastener.

Deadlines

You will receive a preview of your portrait directly to your email inbox within 2 working days. You will then have the opportunity to request alterations to this preview. Each retouch request will extend the delivery date by one working day. The dispatch date will depend not only on the number of retouch requests but also on how quickly you reply to our emails. The delivery time will depend on the mode of transport chosen:

The origin of the dot portrait

Anyone visiting Venice is bound to have noticed the bottle-butt windows, made of small pieces of coloured glass surrounded by metal. You'll find them in Saint Mark's Basilica in particular.

How does it work?

Each stitch is made with 5 rings of different colours and sizes, imitating the different shades of glass. The mesh of dots goes from the lightest to the darkest to reproduce the relief of your portrait.
